Hello my name is Brandon Sloat and welcome to Tsunami Code!! I have been writing, designing and leading embedded software development teams for over a decade. I am very passionate about my craft, coding and mentoring others. I created Tsunami Code to help demystify the fundamental concepts of good architecture, coding habits and design. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering and have multiple U.S. Patents issued from the USPTO.
I have had the most wonderful experience living abroad in Tokyo, Japan for the better part of three years. It is here, I was able to meet my wife and start our family. We currently reside in the Midwest with our two furry friends Komay and Sonny. In our free time we enjoy going for walks along the bike path!!
